Sometimes the October plan really can just be coffee with a friend. Better Buzz’s Chocolate Boo-Nana drinks bring chocolate and banana together for a little Halloween treat, without asking you to clear an entire afternoon.
I shared the lineup in my October 15 reel, including the cold brew with the jumbo marshmallow on top. If that is the drink you saved, here is how it fits in with the other options.
The cold brew with the marshmallow
Chocolate Boo-Nana Cold Brew starts with cold brew and chocolate sauce, then adds banana cold cream. A jumbo marshmallow, more chocolate sauce and a dusting of cocoa finish it off.
It is the most recognizable one from my post, especially if the topping was what stopped your scroll. The banana part comes through the cold cream rather than turning the whole drink into a blended order.
Mocha or blended?
The Chocolate Boo-Nana Mocha combines chocolate, banana purée, espresso and milk. It comes hot or iced, which is helpful when San Diego’s October weather still has a few summer ideas.
There is also a white mocha version with white chocolate, banana purée, espresso and milk. If you already have a favorite between mocha and white mocha, that is an easy place to start.
For a frozen drink, the Chocolate Boo-Nana Blended Buzz combines chocolate and banana purée with milk and ice. It can be made with or without espresso, so the friend who skips espresso has an option, too.
Make it a local coffee stop
