Some places make you reach for your camera before you’ve even picked a drink. Bloodlust Winebar in Valle de Guadalupe was one of those spots.
When we visited, I loved the music, the espresso martinis and how many photo-worthy spaces there were. It gave us a different kind of Valle stop, with a setting that was just as memorable as the drinks.
A space you’ll want to look around
Bloodlust’s sculptural building is a big part of its personality. The venue credits the design to illustrator Jaime Zuverza and describes how his ideas became physical structures through ferrocement.
Even without the architectural backstory, there’s plenty to catch your eye. This was one of those places where the surroundings became part of what I wanted to share, with different corners and angles worth a photo.

Espresso martinis and good music
The espresso martinis were a highlight for us. Add the music we enjoyed during our visit and it was an easy spot to settle in for drinks.
Bloodlust also offers wine by the glass and bottle, cocktails and food, so there are options if everyone at the table is in a different mood. You can browse the menu through Bloodlust’s official links before you go.
If there’s a particular performance or event you want to catch, check what’s on for your date. The music was part of what we loved, so it’s worth planning around the evening that sounds most like you.

Adding it to your Valle plans
Bloodlust is in San Marcos, Valle de Guadalupe, at Doña Emilia LT 13-2. Its official links have table reservations and directions, which makes them a good starting point for planning your visit.
I’d leave some room around this stop instead of rushing straight to the next reservation. Arrange your return ride before the drinks arrive, then enjoy the space and the people you came with.
For us, the appeal was simple: a distinctive setting, music and cocktails we really enjoyed. Save Bloodlust for the part of your Valle trip when you want to settle in for a drink and stay awhile.
