Snooze Fall Brunch in San Diego: Pancake Flights, Bennys and Tiramisu French Toast

Fall brunch season is officially here. 🍂🥞 Snooze’s Fall(ish) menu gave me plenty to try, from a pancake flight to Smoked Salmon Benedict and Tiramisu French Toast. If you like a little sweet and savory on the table, this is a fun San Diego brunch idea.

The pancake flight is the move

I added the seasonal Pumpkin Pecan Pancake to my flight and it was amazing, with those warm fall flavors and candied pecans. Getting three different pancakes in one order is the move when you cannot choose just one. These might seriously be some of the best pancakes in San Diego.

The Pumpkin Pecan option brings together pumpkin pancakes, a vanilla cream cheese filling and a caramel topping. If pumpkin is what you are coming for, check that your location still has it before heading over. Seasonal flavors can change.

A savory Benny and a coffee-inspired French toast

Snooze is also known for its Eggs Benedict, so I tried the Smoked Salmon Benedict. It comes on toasted focaccia with herbed cream cheese, smoked salmon and poached eggs, finished with cream cheese hollandaise, pickled red onions and lemon olive gremolata.

I also tried the Tiramisu French Toast. Think stuffed brioche with whipped mascarpone, espresso cream, coffee syrup, cocoa powder and espresso sugar. ☕️ It brings a coffee-and-dessert direction to the sweet side of brunch.

The Fall(ish) lineup also includes Breakfast Tacos and a Smothered Breakfast Burrito, plus mimosas and breakfast cocktails if that is your brunch plan. You can see the burrito in the spread above, with its red and green sauces.

Snooze has Hillcrest and La Jolla locations. Their official pages have current hours, menus and waitlist links. Check your chosen location’s menu before visiting, especially for seasonal items.
