Rustic Root’s Prohibition Week continues through Halloween at its Gaslamp location. If you want to build your evening around dinner, this is one to consider before filling your calendar with late-night plans.
A Roaring Twenties dinner in the Gaslamp
According to Rustic Root’s official event page, the restaurant is using darkened windows, candelabras and whiskey barrels to create a 1920s-inspired setting. Full dinner service continues alongside classic cocktails, including martinis, Manhattans and whiskey and bourbon pours. Tableside martinis are offered.
Live jazz is advertised. Confirm that evening’s performance schedule when booking; 1920s attire and costumes are welcome.

Check Prohibition dinner reservations here. Select the correct date and party size to see the available seating times. Review any reservation payment separately from food and drinks; a booking charge should not be read as the price of a full dinner.
This is a limited Halloween-week experience, so make sure you selected the Prohibition experience rather than assuming every standard reservation includes the same programming. If you’re going with friends, decide on a dinner time together before building the rest of your evening around it.
What happens on Halloween night?
On October 31, Rustic Root also has a separate DJ party. Its official page says a dinner receipt provides admission; guests coming only for the party need a separate ticket. The venue page and booking listing show different party start times, so confirm arrival timing with the restaurant before planning the transition from dinner.

For a dinner-focused Halloween plan, leave yourself time to enjoy the meal instead of squeezing it between several reservations. Save your booking confirmation, plan transportation in advance and ask the restaurant directly about any accessibility or age requirements relevant to your group.
