A meal with a Hello Kitty blind box? I had to get one. Burger King’s Hello Kitty & Friends King Jr. Meal was such a cute little find, and I was surprised that my meal was only about $6.
That was the approximate price I shared for my own order, rather than a guaranteed price at every restaurant. Check your location’s current price and toy availability before heading over.
A kids’ meal with a mystery collectible
The fun part was getting a full kids’ meal and a Hello Kitty & Friends toy in a mystery box. The toys were so cute that I already wanted to collect them all.
Burger King’s official announcement describes a choice of hamburger, cheeseburger, or four- or six-piece chicken nuggets, with fries or applesauce and a drink. The collaboration also includes themed packaging and a Hello Kitty crown while supplies last.
Which character are you hoping for?
The announced collection has six toys: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi and a golden-colored Hello Kitty. The mystery-box format means you don’t know which character you’ll get when you open it.
For me, the cute collectible and the price made this such a fun food find to share. Watch my original video for the meal, and tell me which character you’d want to open.
Check availability before making a special trip
The collaboration launched October 20, 2026, and Burger King describes it as a limited-time offer at participating U.S. restaurants, while supplies last. There isn’t a guaranteed end date or local inventory listed in the announcement. Check Burger King, its app or your restaurant for what’s available near you.
If you’re collecting, I’d confirm that the restaurant still has the Hello Kitty & Friends toys before ordering specifically for one. A meal purchase doesn’t guarantee a particular character.
