Studio 54 meets Halloween, right next to Petco Park. Diamond Room brought together red velvet curtains, leather booths, mirrored walls and disco balls for a spooky-season cocktail stop in downtown San Diego.
This is a look back at the Halloween setup I shared in October 2026. Halloween has passed, so the decorations and limited-edition drinks below are part of that visit, rather than a promise of what you’ll find now.
A glamorous lounge with a spooky twist
The moody lighting and retro details were already such a good backdrop for a night out. Add festive decorations and creepy surprises, and the room had that Halloween date-night feel without losing its glamorous side.
One detail I shared in my video: you didn’t need a Petco Park ticket to visit. It was a separate cocktail stop beside the ballpark, which made it an option even without game-day plans.
The Halloween cocktail lineup
The seasonal drinks featured in my post included The Harvest Moon, Black Veil and Rum Reaper, with prices ranging from $16 to $20 at the time. There were burgers, flatbreads and shareable bites too, so it could be more than a quick drink stop.
If one of those cocktails caught your eye, check directly with the lounge before making plans around it. Seasonal menus change, and the Halloween lineup may no longer be offered.
Planning a visit after Halloween
Diamond Room is at 323 N. Seventh Ave., San Diego, CA 92101. Its official location page lists evening hours Wednesday through Sunday and notes that it may open earlier on game and event days. Check that page for the current schedule.
For the latest food and cocktails, start with Diamond Room’s website. My video keeps the Halloween version here, and the lounge is a place to keep in mind when you’re planning an evening near Petco Park.
