A pumpkin patch, a little time outside and maybe pizza afterward. Goff Family Pumpkin Patch was on my fall activities list because it makes a simple October outing right in Liberty Station.
Admission is free and the 2026 season runs from September 18 through October 31. You can browse the pumpkins, take a few fall photos and decide how much of the afternoon you want to spend there. Pumpkins, food and drinks are extra.
Bring a picnic or stay for pizza
Goff allows outside food, so you can bring a picnic rather than plan the whole visit around buying a meal. Leashed dogs are welcome, too, which is a nice option if your four-legged family member is part of the day’s plans.
On weekends, hand-tossed pizza is available to purchase. The posted pizza hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The Tap Truck serves beer, cider, wine and cocktails from 4 p.m. until closing on Friday and from noon until closing on Saturday and Sunday. A weekday visit is more of a simple pumpkin stop, while the weekend gives you those extra food-and-drink options.
Wander a little farther around Liberty Station
The patch is beside The Loma Club putting green, just inside the north entrance at Liberty Station and across from SparkCycle. The address is 2830 Perry Road.
If your group wants a different food option, Liberty Public Market is at 2820 Historic Decatur Road. Its mix of food and drink vendors makes it useful when everyone wants something different.
You can make the pumpkin patch the seasonal part of the day, then leave the rest open for a meal and a walk. No need to pack in much more than that.
A few details before you go
The patch lists hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Goff recommends the Cushing Road parking lot near Sea Hive.
Check the patch’s current schedule if you are planning around a particular food vendor. Otherwise, bring water, keep your dog leashed and leave a little room in the car for the pumpkin you were only going to look at.
